The proven performance of Duro-Last with ELVALOY ™ KEE

The Duro-Last EV roofing membrane incorporates ketone ethylene ester (KEE) into our proprietary Duro-Last PVC thermoplastic membrane formulation, offering the same UV resistance, reflectivity and enhanced chemical resistance. Utilizing ELVALOY ™ KEE from Dow, the membrane is flexible and weldable in low temperatures and performs well in cold, harsh environments. Duro-Last EV uses the optimal amount of KEE, yielding the performance benefits of KEE while also being cost-effective. It’s an excellent choice for low-sloped projects requiring a long-lasting, energy-efficient roofing system that offers resistance to both weather and chemical attack.

Membrane Features

  • KEE-containing roll good for applications requiring enhanced chemical resistance.
  • Proprietary Duro‑Last PVC formulation provides energy savings and fire resistance and is recyclable.
  • 10-foot rolls reduce on-site labor and enable a quick, quiet and easy installation.
  • KEE-containing membrane can be mechanically attached, adhered or induction-welded over a wide variety of roof substrates.
  • EV membranes are not compatible with Duro‑Last, Duro‑Tuff®, Duro‑Fleece® or Duro‑Fleece Plus® membranes or accessories.
  • A robust top performance layer (or “thickness over scrim”) of the PVC membrane exposed to weather, the environment, chemicals and human activity provides exceptional reflectivity, flame retardance, and UV and chemical resistance.
  • Weft-inserted (or “woven”) anti-wicking scrim roofing material with a density of 18 by 9 threads per inch provides superior strength and puncture resistance.
  • A complete line of Duro-Last EV custom-fabricated accessories specifically designed for KEE-containing membranes is available, reducing labor and the potential for leaks at critical transition areas of the roof.
  • NSF/ANSI 347 Gold certified; UL and FM approved as well as ASTM D 4434-12 and ASTM D 6754-10 compliant.
